Munyendo knew what it felt to be a player for  the school and represent the school in the game so he made sure the school never misses the school games and also went ahead to register the school in the Mini League in Kakamega. Tsunami FC  performed in the  Mini League wherein a couple of seasons topped in the league. That was not all that Munyendo did to the young talented players in the team but also registered the team in the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom where they managed to win the title in the Western region and were crowned champions.

The best thing in the story of Tsunami Fc success is that the team consisted of young players who were students. Munyendo also had a team which helped him to make sure the players' needs and what they want is catered for in their school football career, for example, Patrick Fundia who acted as his assistant coach. Munyendo became a good player and a coach from learning from the best that is Coach Makokha. Munyendo's coaching skills didn't go unrewarded as they bore fruits where he managed to produce good players who mostly are playing in the local league in Kenya, for example, NSL and KPL, they include: Jafar Owiti - AFC Leopards, Farraj Ominde - Tusker, Victor Opondo - KCB, Mike Kibwage -KCB, Juma - Sofapaka, Patrick - Shabana, Robert - AFC, Bonnie - AFC, Misikhu - Wazito FC Kevin Moturi, Joshua Otieno, Daniel Ndambuki - Kibra United, Victor Barongo (Gattuso) - Gor Mahia Youth.
